Designed for mobile data recording and data transfer applications, Datec-Control family of plastic enclosures are for uses that require large graphics displays, changeable battery packs and PCMCIA cards. The lower half of the body is narrow for comfortable holding in the hand and a large window area holds displays up to 4.45" x 3.39". The top is recessed for mounting membrane keyboards. Three sizes are available. Accessories include station moldings that can be located on a tabletop or fixed to a wall. These moldings can be used as charging stations and data transfer points. Datec-Control cases can be used as battery packs and can be replaced for recharging without the need to remove the cells. Up to five 1.5V AA cells fit the cases. Price starts at $23 each.
