Housing Product Protects PCBs

July 1, 2000

Designed to both house and protect printed circuit boards, the ME Bus electronic component housings can be interconnected side-by-side through an integrated gold plated contact plug connection. This integrated plug connection is said to eliminate daisy-chain wiring and proprietary power rails.
They are available in widths of 17.5 mm and 22.5 mm and feature fixed or pluggable terminations, plug connections in five or 10 positions with gold-plated contacts, an integrated grounding element, metal mounting feet, and metal extraction locks for the printed circuit board.
