The M-7500 prototyping system is claimed to excel in the reflow process where many other prototyping stations seem to fall short. A bottom-side heater brings the printed circuit board to temperature quickly. On top, a targeted hot air shower of heat is claimed to perfectly solder components into place.
The system combines precise temperature control and over 100 programmable profiles. And in addition to its reflow capability, the system is equipped with an array of tools to handle all typical prototyping and low-volume production tasks, including dispense, placement, desoldering, and pad cleaning. Prices start at $7,995.
