Motion Controller Has Display And Keypad

Oct. 1, 2000

Claimed to be a low-cost solution for OEM and single-user, two-axis motion control applications, the MAC200 motion controller also provides a digital display and keypad. Measuring only 2.65'' x 3'' x 0.75'', this board-level controller offers features such as a programmable LCD, user interrupt inputs, an internal 32-bit real timer, and independent and coordinated movements. The device is said to be programmed in plain English, making it easy for the inexperienced programmer. Arbitrary curves can be generated with multi-segments of linear movements as well as independent and interpolated movements.
The 32-bit timer permits timing events up to and in excess of 25 days at a resolution of 0.512 ms. A starter kit is also available that comes with two stepper motors and drivers.
