Boasting to be the fastest PCI bus A/D converter and oscilloscope card in the industry, the two-channel CompuScope 82G has a sampling rate of up to 2 Gsamples/s on one channel and can simultaneously sample on both channels at rates up to 1 Gsamples/s.

The card has a 500 MHz-bandwidth and includes up to 16 Msamples of on-board acquisition memory. Data transfer rates from on-board memory to host PC memory are up to 100 MB/s. Other features include an oscilloscope-like front end, a piggy-back design that claims to eliminate digital crosstalk from motherboards and PCI bus circuitry, and a 40 dB signal-to-noise ratio. The card includes drivers for DOS and Windows 95/98/NT and it is fully compatible with Windows 2000 and the company's GageScope software. Pricing for a single unit with 2 MB of acquisition memory, the 82G-2M is $7,995 and the 82G-8M, with 8 MB of acquisition memory, costs $9,995.
