Precision cPCI I/O Board Programs Transducers

Dec. 1, 2000

In addition to providing a variety of process control type connections, the CPCI-511 is capable of programming transducers. This CompactPCI board includes 32 single-ended or 16 differential analog inputs with on-board signal conditioning available for current loops, noise filters, and overvoltage clamps.
The inputs feed a programmable gain amplifier and then a precision 16-bit A/D converter with a 100 kHz maximum sampling rate. Price is $895. An optional model with advanced Windows software source code, CPCI-511WINS, costs $395.
