The LS700 and LS700A dc-to-ac inverters for driving cold-cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFLs) provide a wide dimming range of 100% to 10%, a 50% improvement compared to the reported 100% to 40% range of most comparable devices. Both models are similar except the polarity of the board's single output connector may be specified as normal (LS700) or inverted (LS700A). Both models include a single transformer to drive dual lamps and have an input range from 10.8 to 13.2 Vdc. Output current ranges from 3 to 7.5 mA per lamp.
