Providing engineers with the tools to explore various TCP/IP solutions, the PICDEM.net Internet/Ethernet Demonstration Board with a TCP/IP stack enables embedded connectivity over industrial, automotive, and consumer networks. The board uses the 40-pin PIC16F877 flash microcontroller and TCP/IP firmware for the network interface.
After the initial setup of the IP Ethernet address, users can access the various functions on the board through a network or the Internet. A standard web browser is used to display inputs from the board and drive the LCD display and control LEDs. The board also includes the MPLAB IDE, user's guides, CAT 5 Ethernet cable, DB9 serial cable, and a universal power supply. Price is $299 each.
