Aluminum enclosures have been developed for electronic, industrial, instrumentation, and telecommunications applications requiring weather-proof construction and other special design requirements. The enclosures are custom fabricated to enable them to meet other requirements, such as vibration resistance, EMI/RFI shielding, and heat dissipation. Contoured doors create easy access to pc boards and other components and the enclosures can be built to include sub-racks, standoff shields, heatsinks, stainless steel hardware, and a durable polyester powder-coated finish. Sizes can range up to 30" x 30" x 24" or larger with tolerances to 0.001" per 1", with a natural convection thermal transfer rated up to 600W. Vibration resistance up to 10Gs is said to be possible, depending on configuration.
