Compact Loads Deliver Up To 100W

Aug. 1, 2001

The 100W DTL22A load delivers a 0 to 20A output, controlled by applying 0 to 10V inputs. Input can be from circuits such as the wiper of a trimpot or analog feedback loops, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or analog-I/O boards (d/a boards). The load has an output impedance greater than 10M½,a voltage-controlled current sink, and supports any combination of current and voltage outputs from 0 to 20A and 2.5 to 50V up to a total of 100W.Other features include an accuracy of ±1% under all conditions, a 200 µs full-scale step response time, and a compact footprint measuring 2" x 2" x 0.5" in a shielded metal case. Multiple loads can be connected in parallel for higher output power. Price is $125 each/100. DATEL, INC., Mansfield, MA. (508) 339-3000.
