Supporting single or dual Pentium III processors, the ZA-100 1U thin server supports dual hard drives and provides system-fault detection and a cooling system that incorporates six fans. Optimized for rack-mount systems incorporating multiple servers, the ZA-100Õs 1U form factor and PCI-bus architecture allows up to 42 servers, or 84 processors, to be configured in a single industry-standard rack. The motherboard packs a VIA 694X chipset, a 133-MHz front side bus, from 128 MB to 1 GB of SDRAM, and can support up to two Pentium III CPUs running at 1 GHz each.
