The company has come up with a variant of its patented T-Frame test and development system for significantly simplifying development of PICMG 2.16-compliant CompactPCI packet switching systems. The variant is said to combine the board access, convenience and diagnostics capabilities of the original T-Frame with the high-performance of an 8-slot, 64-bit cPCI packet switching backplane. The T-FrameÕs open-frame chassis is designed to monitor all backplane voltages, current and exhaust air temperature. In addition, the front panel interface displays fan speed and voltage control, including +5V and +3.3V margining. And the unit can be equipped with one or two 350W plug-in power supplies, allowing for hot-swap power simulation, N+1, or high-power, 700W operation. The new T-Frame costs $3,845.
