At 8 to 16 milliohms, the PS series of miniature, radial lead, solid polymer electrolyte capacitors is said to offer a lower equivalent series resistance (ESR) than regular liquid electrolytes. The high temperature resistant solid aluminum caps are also said to offer stable performance and high reliabiliy and to withstand lead-free alloy soldering. The series is available with rated voltages of 4, 6.3, 10 and 16 Vdc, capacitance values ranging from 180 to 820 µF, and ripple currents of 4.3A RMS to 5.5A RMS. The caps come in two case sizes (D x L): 8 x 11.5 mm and 10 x 12.5 mm. And they are designed for use in dc/dc converters, voltage regulators, decoupling applications, and output filtering circuitry for computer motherboards and servers requiring low ESR at a high frequency range.
