Using StarFabric bridge technology, the PMC-SB PCI mezzanine card provides a switch fabric interface to real-time networks that scale from a few to several hundred nodes. The card is PICMG 2.17 compliant and mounts to a CompactPCI carrier board, providing a PCI-to-StarFabric interface. Connection via RJ-45 or backplane interconnects allows multi-chassis I/O expansion and interconnection between different hardware platforms.
