The IPM-ATA mass-storage expansion board lets users choose the most appropriate storage media for their applications. Accommodating up to two storage devices, it supports a variety of 1.8" and 2.5" hard-disk drives, micro drives, flash, compact flash, and PCMCIA media. In operation, the board appears as a standard IDE device and attaches via ribbon cable to the rear transition module. Operating temperature ranges from -40_C to +85_C, and the board can endure from 5% to 95% condensing-humidity at 40_C. Software support includes VxWorks, QNX, OS9, and Windows CE.
