A new line of rugged, Euro-style Elettro GiBi terminal blocks connects a wide variety of circuits to printed circuit boards. These board-level terminal blocks guarantee mechanical and electrical connection without damage to conductors and may be wired and rewired several times without compromising the design. Screws are captive and supplied unscrewed for faster and easier termination. In addition, the design prevents transmission of screw torque to the soldered pins. The line includes both single and pluggable versions. Pitch spacings are available in 3.81, 5, 5.08, 7.5, 7.62, 10, and 10.16 mm. The design conforms to industry-standard dimensions, pitches and PCB hole sizes. The units are made of polyamide 6.6 in self-extinguishing, UL94VO-rated material. The Elettro GiBi products are available in rising cage clamp, spring and screw connection wire terminations. Other configurations include multilevel, angled wire entry, and low- and high-profile versions. For further information and prices, contact ITW PANCON, Bolingbrook, IL. (888) 515-2100.
