Touted as the industry's lowest profile isolated, dual-output 3W dc/dc converters, the NDT Series comes in a 24-pin DIL package having a 1.27" x 0.58" footprint and a board mounting height of just 0.28", making the devices strong candidates for height-constrained applications, such as rack-mounted industrial and telecomm pc boards. With nominal input voltage ratings of 24V to 48V, NDT converters can handle 18 to 36 Vdc or 48 to 75 Vdc, respectively, with 12V or 15V output voltage options available for each nominal input voltage. Isolation between I/Os is 1 kVdc. The dc/dc converters can deliver their full 3W at temperatures up to 85°C. And a flyback oscillator design with isolated feedback affords regulation over the full operating range of 25% to 100% of full load, with load and line regulation rated at less than 1% on the positive output. The encapsulated, UL 94V-0-compliant, low-wattage converters can operate over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range and are priced under $10 each in OEM quantities.
