The VP 110/010 VME-based, intelligent dual PMC host I/O board is now available for operation over an extended temperature range of -25°C to 70°C. It supports an 800 MHz Pentium III processor with 512 KB of cache and provides 512 MB of 133 MHz ECC SDRAM that can be upgraded to 1 GB via an on-board socket. The board includes two 64-bit/66-MHz PMC sites and a connector that supports an optional PMC carrier board for expansion to a total of four PMC modules. Other features include an EIDE interface via the P2 connector, optional EIDE compact flash, extended-temperature carrier, up to 64 MB of flash memory, and up to 2 MB of SRAM. In terms of I/O, the board provides a dual 10baseT/100base-TX Ethernet interface, one RS-232 channel, one USB port, and more. Volume pricing is approximately $4,000 each.
