Connectors Geared Up For High-Density Applications

Four product lines provide users with interfaces, headers and sockets for a wide range of high-density applications. The SamArray 1.27-mm interfaces are available with up to 500 I/Os and with board-to-board spaces of 5, 7, 9, 12, 19 and 25 mm. They are subjected to 40-day, mixed-flow gas testing, exceeding Telecordia standards and accounting for a 20-year life span. FOURRAY headers and sockets provide up to 200 I/Os in less than one square inch with a choice of 6.35-, 8-, 10- and 12-mm stack heights. They are available with surface-mount terminations on a 0.64-mm pitch and through-hole configurations on a 1.27-mm pitch. On a 2-mm pitch, FleXYZ interfaces allow users to specify the number of rows, pins per row, and board spacing. They are available with four, five, or six rows with up to 50 pins per row. The Z-Beam one-piece interfaces provide board-stacking and LGA-socketing components on 1.27-mm pitch. Pricing for SamArray interfaces begins at $0.08 to $0.10 per mated line and for FOURRAY headers and sockets, $0.10 to $0.12 per mated line.
