This 10U-high, fully integrated enclosure system numbers among its many features a 21-slot VME64 extensions backplane with P0 connectors, with the system's shielded EMC 19" subrack capable of accommodating up to 21 6U x 160 mm deep boards and 21 rear, 6U x 80 mm deep transition cards. Further, ESD clips are installed in each card guide. The unit also has a 1,000W, 4-output (+3.3V at 60A, +5V at 120A, +12V at 17A and -12V at 17A), PFC power supply. Thermal management features include active, controlled heat dissipation of the power supply and the boards through hot-swappable, speed controlled radial fan units for rapid MTTR, as well as a unique bottom-hinged honeycomb ventilation panel for air intake. The system also incorporates a display module for indicating dc operating voltage and fan alarm conditions. The shielded chassis, VITA-1-1994 backplane and power supply are furnished fully assembled and wired. The full system measures 10U (2+6+2U) high, 84 HP wide and 456.5 mm deep.
