Occupying only 0.6 in3 to 1 in3 of space and carrying UL, CSA and TUV approvals, the BPS100 and BPS200 series of miniature switching power modules are designed for use as standby power sources for household appliances and consumer electronics. The board-mountable modules can provide up to 1W and 2W, respectively, of output power and are said to virtually eliminate all line conducted EMI, eliminating the need for additional circuit components. Nominal output voltage of 14 Vdc is adjustable from 5V-14V, with a regulated output of 5.0 Vdc to maintain standby functions, such as LED display or remote control sensor, available as an option. The modules comply with the European code of Conduct and other global standards for power consumption. Typical pricing for the 1W BPS100 modules is under $4 each/10k.
