Expanding the ePIX Generation product line are a full-length single-board computer (SBC) and a compatible 2U rack-mount chassis. The ePX-L520 PCI-X-compliant SBC uses the Intel E7501 chipset supporting a-533 MHz front side bus and single or dual Xeon processors with hyper-threading technology. Features include 512 MB of L2 cache, up to 4 GB of dual-channel DDR RAM with Chipkill ECC, a PCI video controller with 8 MB of SDRAM, dual 10/100/1000 Base-TX Ethernet interfaces, dual channel Ultra ATA/100 EIDE controller, four USB 1.1 ports, two serial ports, one parallel port, and a floppy-disk interface. Complementing the SBC, the ePC-2194 2U chassis has a six-slot butterfly backplane with one SBC slot and three full- and two half-length, 133-MHz 64-bit PCI-X slots. PCI Bus A supports two 64-bit, 3.3V PCI-X add-in cards while bus B supports three 64-bit, 5V or 32-bit/33-MHz add-in cards. Other features include CD-ROM and floppy drive bays, two 3.5" hard-drive bays, LED indicators, a removable card cage, two 8-cm fans in the front and a 4-cm rear fan, and either a single 400W or redundant 350W AC ATX power-factor corrected universal power supplies.
