In addition to a 16-channel multi-band digital receiver, the Model 7631 includes two 14-bit 80- or 105-MHz A/D converters, a Virtex-II FPGA, and drivers for Windows and Linux. In a PMC, the receiver connects to the board via a PMC-to-PCI adapter. It employs four Graychip GC4016 quad digital receiver chips that are driven by samples from the ADC. A crossbar switch in the receiver chips allows the receiver channels to independently select either of the two A/D inputs. Each receiver includes four channels capable of independent center frequency tuning from dc to 50 MHz with outputs ranging from 4 kHz to 10 MHz. Price for the board is $6,795.
