Targeting high-density boards, the FTR-SL 1A, SIP-type solid-state relay (SSR) measures 5 x 28 x 15 mm and is pin-compatible with the company's FTR-LY electromechanical relays (EMRs). The device is available with nominal control voltages of 5, 12, 24, and 60 Vdc, with a peak voltage rating of 250 Vac and a surge-handling capability of 50A. Other features include a built-in varistor and snubber circuit that provides over-voltage and over-current protection and a zero-cross circuit that minimizes noise and inrush current. Additionally, the device has a 2.5-kV dielectric strength between input and output. Available from stock, price is $5.00 each/10K. FUJITSU COMPONENTS AMERICA INC.,Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 380-0059.
