Designed for synchronous-buck applications, the iP1201 and iP1202 are cast as the market's first dual-output, two-phase dc/dc power blocks in single BGA packages. They provide users with two independent voltage rails while reducing board space up to 59%, when compared to discrete-component circuits, and they have no de-rating requirements up to 90°C. Both devices deliver dual outputs up to 15A or a single 30A output with an interleaved input. The iP1201 covers input bus voltages from 3V to 5.5V, and the iP1202 covers from 5.5V to 13.2V, with outputs as low as 0.8V and as high as 5V at full current. Other shared features include an operating frequency from 200 kHz to 400 kHz. Price for either device is $10.05 each/1,000.
