For small form factor display applications, the ezLCD-001-EDK evaluation kit includes a 2.7", 240 x 160 TFT color LCD, mounted as a complete assembly with a matched LCD controller card. Interfacing to the LCD controller is via integrated USB and RS-232 connectivity. The LCD module with multi-font text layer has a default serial data rate of 115,200 Kb/s, user adjustable to standard speeds between 2,400 and 115,200 Kb/s. Additional I/O includes SPI and I2C interfaces and 20 discrete inputs and outputs. An internal dc/dc converter allows the board to operate from a supply range from 3V to 7V. Graphic, text, and system instructions include DOWNLOAD_BITMAP, SET_COLOR, SELECT_FONT, PRINT, LINE, CIRCLE, POINT, and SET_BAUDRATE. Other features include 96 KB of flash and 4 KB of EEPROM.
