Designed to bring Bluetooth technology and high-quality audio to cellular handset accessories, the DSP-based Hands-Free Kit development platform is now available with a Bluetooth daughter card option. The card employs Taiyo Yuden's Bluetooth module, which includes the company's BRF6100 Bluetooth device and Stonestreet One’s Bluetopia software stack. Geared towards automotive applications, the kit's automotive-class power management system safeguards against noise and voltages spikes emanating from the vehicle’s 12V battery. The kit also includes Clarity Technologie's Clear Voice Capture echo and noise suppression software. which provides full-duplex echo suppression. Available now, the HFK Development Platform (TDMSHFK5407) is priced at $1,495 and includes the C5407 DSP motherboard with CVC software from Clarity. Also priced at $1,495, the Bluetooth Daughter Card Kit (TMDSBTC) will be available in Q3 2004 and includes the Bluetopia stack from Stonestreet One. TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INC., Dallas, TX.
