Initially designed for harsh-environment applications, the Athena embedded CPU board now integrates a data acquisition circuit that delivers 16-bit a/d conversion performance with a 100-kHz sample rate and programmable input ranges. The board measures less than 4.2" x 4.5" while packing on-board memory, Ethernet, video, and audio in a package that operates in temperatures from −40°C to +80°C. Additionally, it employs the same I/O connector types, locations, and pinouts as the company's Prometheus PC/104 CPU.
