Described as a cost-effective approach for creating a compatible digital visual interface (DVI), the MicroCross Advanced Digital Display 2 (ADD2) cards plug into the graphics controller of any Intel 915G-equipped motherboard or high-end PC with a vacant PCI Express 16X slot. The system will automatically load the MicroCross ADD2 card configuration, which is stored in serial EEPROM. The cards also offer dual monitor capability and are available in versions to support two Intel chassis architectures: the ADD2-N (non-lane reversed) for ATX systems and the ADD2-R (lane-reversed) for BTX systems. Both versions mate with MicroCross DVI-D receptacles and are available with a standard or low profile PCIe bracket. Price is $19.60 each/1,024. MOLEX INC., Lisle, IL. (630) 969-4550.
