A new pressure sensor has been designed for use in water management, gas pipeline instrumentation, filtration, natural gas compressors and other applications where corrosive liquids and gases are present. The Model 5000 Wet/Wet Differential Pressure Sensor’s design is free of internal O-rings or fill fluids, providing a seal against invading hazardous media. The sensor has both voltage and current outputs over an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Measurements are available in differential pressures covering line pressures up to 1,000 psi. On-board analog compensation ensures fast response times. The sensors are constructed from stainless steel for long life and resistance to media corrosion.
