Operating in temperatures up to +85°C, the Switch104 5-port PC/104 Fast Ethernet switching hub features a typical power dissipation of 1.5W and networks up to five devices using 10 Base-T or 100 Base-TX connections. Fully IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u compliant, its five transceiver ports can each serve as an uplink. The switch is employable as a standalone network switch without a processor board or in combination with systems that support a PC/104 bus. The board integrates fully independent media access controllers, embedded frame-buffer memory, and an address look-up engine, along with support for auto-crossover, auto-polarity, auto-negotiation, auto-speed sensing, and bridge-loop prevention.
