An optically isolated, 32-channel I/O board with change-of-state (COS) interrupt capabilities, the VMIVME-1184 employs interrupt-control logic that can be programmed to issue an interrupt upon specific state changes. If COS logic is enabled, the board will store up to 512 state changes. Sequence-of-event data may be correlated to an internal counter register, which can clock from an external pulse input through the front panel. Board features include support for byte, word, and long-word transfers, field configurable input-voltage range, front-panel LED indicators for each input, software-selectable debounce, programmable interrupt vector, and front-panel inputs for configurable counter/quadrature inputs.
