Additions to the Echotek series of commercial off-the-shelf, RF digital tuning modules are said to expand signal-detection ranges by a factor of 2x to 10x when compared to similar products. Like previous members of the line, the new modules provide accurate frequency measurements for sorting different signals, exhibit low phase noise, and specify a tuning speed of 10 µs. They are available in 6U VME (3000TE and 5000TE) and 6U CompactPCI (3000CTE and 3000CSE) form factors. The 6U VME versions are compatible with VME64, VME64x, and the company's RapidIO-based VXS (VITA 41) multi computer. The 3000TE, 5000TE, 3000CTE, and 3000CSE boards are currently shipping.
