The FXLH1T45 emerges as the industry’s first single-bit, bi-directional voltage translator with guaranteed operation from 1.1V to 3.6V. The device seamlessly interfaces processors to electronic subsystems operating at different voltage levels by providing both uni-directional and bi-directional translation of a number of voltage levels. It is available in the company’s 6-terminal, 1 mm x 1.45 mm MicroPak package, which forecasts savings of 65% more board space than translators in SC70 packages. Additionally, the configurable device provides a bus hold on the outputs to eliminate the need for external pull-up/pull-down resistors. Price is $0.208 each/1,000.
