A single-channel, monolithic ultrasound pulser, the HV739 handles non-destructive testing (NDT) applications and delivers outputs up to 200V and peak pulses to 3.3A. The device integrates controller logic interface circuitry, level translators, and MOSFET gate drive buffers. It features matched delay times, an operating frequency to 10 MHz, over-temperature sensing, under-voltage protection, and a 1.8V to 5V CMOS logic interface. Other features include a direct-coupling topology to facilitate board layout. Available in a 32-lead QFN package, price is $4.68 each/1,000. SUPERTEX INC., Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 222-9883.
