Claimed as an industry first, the COMM+16.PCIe is a 16-port RS-232 serial I/O adapter designed for the PCI Express bus. Each high-speed serial port provides a maximum data rate of 460.8 kb/s. Other features include: fully compliant with all PCI Express x1 slots; 128-byte FIFOs for error-free operation in high-speed applications; support for Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP/VISTA and Linux operating systems. The board has an operating range from 0°C to +70°C, with extended temperature versions operating from -40 - +85°C available. SeaCOM software is included with the board, as well as WinSSD, which is a full-featured application for testing and diagnostics including BERT, throughput monitoring, loopback tests, and test pattern message transmissions.
