Described as low-cost USB analog I/O modules, all functions of the USB-AI Series 12- and 16-bit USB modules are fully software configurable. Five models in the series include 16 digital I/O lines and a 16-bit counter/timer. Taking position as the flagship model, the USB-AI16-16A 16-bit module samples inputs at speeds up to 500 kHz for the board's 16 single-ended or eight differential analog input channels. The five models (USB-AI16-16A, USB-AI16-16E, USB-AI12-16A, USB-AI12-16, and USB-AI12-16E) feature eight standard analog voltage input ranges, two factory current input ranges (4 to 20 mA or 10 to 50 mA), and include a data sample buffer and hardware real-time calibration capability. A unique channel-by-channel programmable gain feature allows measurement of an assortment of large and small signals in one scan. Available in 4" x 4" x 1.25" industrial enclosures, prices range from $339 to $639 each. ACCES I/O PRODUCTS INC., San Diego, CA. (800) 326-1649.
