A new series of ultra-miniature, open-frame modular switching power supplies offer EMC noise compliance with EN55022, Class B standards. The EFM30/M is designed for medical instrumentation, and the EFM30 is made for commercial-grade industrial control and telecommunication systems. All 11 models accept universal input from 90 to 264 VAC, and provide output power of 30 W with single, dual, and triple outputs from 5 VDC to 48 VDC. The supplies operate over the ambient temperature range of -10 to 50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain overvoltage and short-circuit protection circuitry, and internal input filtering. Dimensions start at 3.41 by 2.36 by 0.93 inches. All models are RoHS 2002/95/EC compliant and are designed for pc-board plug-in mounting. Prices start at $30 and $35 in OEM quantities for the commercial and medical versions, respectively. Delivery is stock to 6 weeks ARO. ASTRODYNE CORP., Mansfield, MA. (800) 823-8082.
