Boosting power densities in high-end data and telecommunications equipment, the Stacked ICCON printed-circuit board power connector specifies a current-carrying capacity of 50A and resides in a compact footprint. It provides a quick connect/disconnect function for space constrained motherboard-daughterboard, cable-board, and board-bus power-delivery applications. The stacked configuration provides two ports, vertically stacked to preserve real estate on the board. The component employs the company’s CROWN BAND contacts, a multi-fingered spring that provides a larger surface-contact area. Mating-pin contacts are screw machined and feature silver plating.
