The GS-L10 is a fanless Mini-ITX computer that can support Intel’s Core 2 Duo mobile processors. The computer uses a complex array of heat pipes to conduct heat away from the CPU and chipset to the extruded aluminum heat sinks that comprise the top and sides of the case. This system can cool CPUs with a thermal design power of up to 35 W, including Intel’s T9xxx series of Core 2 Duo mobile processors. The system’s GM45 chipset can handle Blu-Ray decoding and, when paired with a solid-state drive, the system’s compact size (225 by 80 by 195 mm) allows it to be installed almost anywhere without concerns about fan noise, dust contamination, or parts breaking down. The GS-L10 is available now as a complete system with an MSI IM-GM45 (Montevina-based) mainboard. It includes Intel’s GMA 4500MHD Graphics, up to 4 Gbytes of RAM, HDMI, DVI, two 10/100/1000 LAN ports, and a comprehensive array of on-board I/O capability. System prices start at about $900.
