the CoEdge is a one-piece, 25 Gb/s connector supporting an industry-standard pitch of 0.80 mm
Debuting as the latest addition to the EdgeLine family of edgecard connectors, the CoEdge is a one-piece, 25 Gb/s connector supporting an industry-standard pitch of 0.80 mm. The low-profile, dual-sided edgecard connector supports sixteen PCB thicknesses with multiple circuit sizes. Reportedly, the CoEdge connectors ensure PCBs align at the centerline to allow for a uniform signal path across the length of the connector. Keying and locking features are on tap to secure the connector to the PCB and improve board alignment during mating. Application tooling is not necessary, allowing for easy board installation.
