For military apps including ISR, electronic warfare, and mission computing, the SBC612 rugged 6U OpenVPX single-board computer (SBC) employs a 1.5-MHz Freescale QorIQ P4080 processor with eight e500mc cores, allowing a multi-slot configuration to be reduced to a single slot, saving size and weight. The SBC features four x4 Serial RapidIO links, four x4 PCI Express links, up to 8 GB of dual channel DDR3 memory, Gigabit Ethernet, serial and USB 2.0 ports, SATA and GPIO, two XMC-/PMC-capable mezzanine sites, and an Additional Flexible Interface eXtension (AFIX) site.
