Elma’s latest 6U VPX load board comes in a conduction-cooled format as per the IEEE standard 1101.2 mechanical format. The board helps confirm the chassis meets the VITA 46/48/65 power specifications for VPX and aids in locating hot spots within the enclosure. It helps test cooling capabilities by applying the load to the power supply for verification and creating the necessary heat to confirm chassis cooling.
