Centered on an ARM-Based MB9G711 SoC, the company’s CD-less Audio Design Kit is a complete reference solution featuring decoding and playback of popular digital audio files such as MP3, Windows Media Audio, etc. It comes with a complete board support package containing schematics, Gerber files, and guidelines for low BOM cost implementation. It also includes software libraries and application source code for rapid development and prototyping. Eliminating the CD player enables the design of low-cost audio systems that require a minimum of power, fit into a small form factor, and are free from mechanical failure. The Reference Design Kit with the complete BSP (part number: MB9G711CARAUDIOREFKITV2A) is available for $3,500. FUJITSU SEMICONDUCTOR AMERICA INC., Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 866-8608.
