A FPGA mezzanine card (FMC/VITA 57) module, the FMC-516 is a quad-channel, 16-bit analog input card that allows I/O devices to directly interface to a host FPGA. The card’s four 16-bit ADCs connect through the module’s FMC connector to an FPGA-based host board to maximize data throughput, up to 250 Msamples/s, and minimize latency. The FMC-516 supports an onboard programmable sample clock generator as well as an external reference input. It is available in both air-cooled and conduction-cooled rugged versions. Other features include a 700-MHz input bandwidth. For more details, contact Jerri-Lynne Charbonneau at CURTISS-WRIGHT CONTROLS EMBEDDED COMPUTING, Ontario, Canada. (613) 254-5112.
