The 6U SVME/DMV-194 VME single board computer (SBCs) supports a Freescale Power Architecture QorIQ P2020 processor with dual 1.2 GHz cores and delivers 6x the compute performance at nearly the same cost as earlier VME designs such as the company’s 179. The rugged, air- or conduction-cooled SBC is ideal for upgrading existing SWaP-C constrained systems based on older PowerPC or Power Architecture processors. Other features include two 64-bit PMC/XMC sites, Gigabit Ethernet, up to six serial ports, SATA, 1553 and USB 2.0 ports, and optional pin-out modes for backplane compatibility. Software support includes VxWorks BSP and driver suite, Wind River Linux 4.x, and the INTEGRITY BSP and driver suite.
