Based on a low-power, transflective-positive technology, the RA43Z color LCD is designed to lessen power drain in battery-operated devices such as cell phones, pagers and small test and measurement instruments by consuming as little as 2.5 mA in its operational mode and 10 µA in standby. The CSTN, chip-on-flex LCD requires only a single 3.3V power supply, is just 3 mm thick, and has an active area of 31.2 mm x 39.0 mm and a viewing area of 33.3 x 43.0 mm. It also displays 4,096 colors and delivers a portrait resolution of 128 x 160. Other features include a white LED backlight and a ZIF connector for making connection to the data terminal.
