Grayscale Display Delivers 160 x 240 Pixels

Jan. 1, 2001

Measuring 64.97 x 89.37 mm, the TG16241FEW 160 x 240-pixel, four-level grayscale graphic LCD display is designed for portable applications, such as hand-held organizers, portable instruments, and alarm panels. The standard model offers FSTN with a white EL backlight. The LCD uses a Hitachi chipset, the HD66520 and HD66503, as drivers. The chipset includes a general-purpose SRAM interface and an arbitration method that prevents flicker when the CPU performs draw access asynchronously. Other features include a built-in high-voltage LCD drive, operation from 3V to 5.5V, and an internal bitmap-display RAM.
