The PresencePLUS2 pixel-counting sensor targets applications where a defect can occur anywhere within the sensor's field of view and where a configuration of multiple discrete sensors is either cost-prohibitive or mechanically impractical. The sensor can be configured with any Windows PC or with the company's hand-held controller. Neither a PC nor a hand-held controller is required for sensor operation or output. The sensor displays images of 512 x 384 pixels and 256 levels of grayscale. An intuitive three-window graphic interface makes it easy to set up and maintain. A basic PresencePLUS2 system consists of the model P2B65Q sensor, free software, and a DB9 serial cable. Various lighting options, lenses, and mounting brackets are available.
