LCD Graphic Module Sports Full VGA Functionality

With a 640 x 480 pixel resolution and 0.21 dot pitch, the new C555002 LCD module delivers full VGA functionality for a wide range of applications. The module comes with a built-in EL backlight and touch-panel and requires a single 3.3V power supply to display messages. Since all components are on the module, the designer does not have to worry about individual parts.
Other features include a black-on-white contrast of 4.5:1, a thickness of 8 mm, and an wide operating temperature range of -10°C to 50°C. Weighing only 350g, the C555 module is targeted at handheld and portable applications such as inventory control computers, industrial equipment instrumentation, desktop test and measurement devices, POS terminals, bar-code scanners and medical devices. The modules are priced at $335 each/1,000.
